FIRST BOOT
Browse, or write. That is the job.

ON THE WINDOWS PC, AFTER THE STARTER
The desktop should have Spareboot Desk.
- Browse opens the web (Edge is already on Windows 10 and 11).
- Write opens Google Docs, Microsoft 365, or LibreOffice Writer if you installed it.

AFTER A LIGHT SYSTEM BOOTS
Linux Mint XFCE and Lubuntu already include Firefox and LibreOffice.
antiX includes a browser. If Writer is not there, use the browser.

Open the browser and use one of these:

- Google Docs: https://docs.google.com/
- Microsoft 365: https://www.microsoft365.com/
- Office on the web: https://www.office.com/

Pin those if you like. You do not need all three.

READY
The machine is Ready when it boots, gets online, and a person can browse and type a letter.
If it cannot, stop. You do not pay.

Phone steps, if you are holding the phone at the keyboard:
